Abstract

Traditional medicine / herbal medicine is a drug that is approved by the community by the community is an alternative medicine that can help relieve some minor ailments. However, every herbal medicine before being approved must fulfill the requirements for proper and proper consumption in accordance with Law No. 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection. More about herbal medicine requirements that need to be regulated in the head regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Drug and Food Supervisory Agency Number Hk.03.1.23.10.11.08481 of 2011 concerning candidates and Procedures for Registration of Medicines what traditional medicinal products / herbal medicines before being circulated or sold then this drug must meet several requirements consisting of product name, net weight, composition, expiration limit, manufacturer's address, efficacy, side effects, distribution permit number, logo and usage usage. In order to buy consumers from drugs that are not worth paying to meet the standards of traditional medicine / herbal medicine.
