Abstract
The purpose of the research are to study and analyze: (1) the effect of learning models on mathematics learning outcomes. (2) the effect of student’s motivation on mathematics learning outcomes. (3) the interaction between learning models and motivation on mathematics learning outcomes. Type of research in this study is quantitative research with quasi-experimental design. The population in this research were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Delanggu consisting of classes VIII A to VIII G with the research sample used there were two classes, namely classes VIII A and VIII B are selested technique by cluster random sampling. Before to the analysis, first tested the normality and homogeneity tests with data collection techniques using questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The hypothesis test use two way analysis of variance with α = 5%. Research results obtained: (1) there was the effect of Learning Projects Learning Model (PjBL) and conventional learning models of mathematics learning outcomes of students in the pythagorean theorem material. (2) there was effect of student's learning motivation to learning outcomes in mathematics. (3) There was not interaction between learning model and the level of motivation of students on learning outcomes in mathematics.
