Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that affect bad credit, how to overcome it both in terms of debtors and creditors to the final settlement of bad loans at BPR Catur Artha Jaya Kudus. Bad Credit is one of the main problems in BPR that is difficult to avoid. This study uses qualitative methods with ethnographic research designs. Data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the factors that affect bad credit are instability to the bankruptcy of businesses owned by customers. Whereas the way to overcome bad credit is by intensive billing by BPR Catur Artha Jaya Kudus. The final settlement of bad loans at BPR Catur Artha Jaya Kudus is (1) auction; (2) legal process; (3) no action is taken.
