Abstract

The Indonesian government continues to try to increase the number of tourist visits from 9.7 million in 2014 to 20 million in 2019. This is done in an effort to increase the country's foreign exchange revenue. Indonesia has granted visa-free for 45 countries, including Asean countries. One effort also to plan it is by planning and developing villages on the basis of Community Development. The method uses community participation in design. Girpasang one of the villages in Klaten with good potential to be developed into a rural tourism area. The development of the potential is reviewed to adjust how the type of tourism in the village. Kampung Girpasang has interesting physical and non-physical conditions. These conditions make adjustments to the concept of eco-design architecture design. The concept of eco design makes reference to the design concept of a tourist village. The design concept of the Girpasang village is based on the concept of macro planning with several surrounding areas, the concept of meso design with the assimilation of the planning area to create a pattern of tourist activities that later makes a solution of a building design in Girpasang Kapung in the form of a micro concept based on an eco-design approach as a concept The main design of several existing building proposals in Kampung Girpasang.
