Abstract
The increasing public awareness of healthy living has made the demand for vegetables from hydroponic gardens to increase. The research objective was to determine the effect of growth of lettuce plants in hiroverticulture and wick systems using POC leaves of paitan, lamtoro and moringa. This type of research uses an experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD) with 2 factors factorial pattern, namely the hydroponic method and the use of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC). Factor 1 types of hydroponic methods: the hyroverticulture method and the wick system. Factor 2 Types of POC: POC leaves paitan, lamtoro, and Moringa. The measured parameters are plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), and root length (cm). Data analysis technique used is a two-way ANOVA test analysis. The results obtained for the highest growth of lettuce plant height in Paitan leaf treatment were 1.3 cm. The highest average number of lettuce leaves in the treatment of the hydroverticulture method with POC of Lamtoro leaves was 4 strands. While the highest average root length in the treatment of the wick system method with Paitan leaf POC was 3.7 cm.
