Abstract

Based on the results of the 2010 Population Census projection, the population of Surakarta City in 2016 reached 514,171. With a high level of density it will have an impact on social problems such as housing, health, and the level of consumption of foodstuffs, resulting in waste products due to the increasing population in Solo. This has an impact on increasing household waste products, namely waste and leading to final disposal, namely TPA (Final Disposal Site) in Solo, namely TPA Putri Cempo. So that a problem arises, namely the overloading of garbage that enters the TPA Putri Cempo which causes a poor system of settlement space patterns in the waste storage strategy in their respective settlements due to the habit of residents saving garbage at home. Until the strategy in handling waste is the construction of PLTSa. However, the need to form settlements into humanist settlements with the first step is mental rescue or awareness in bringing a humanist village image, namely through learning areas, namely workshops. To strengthen the definition of humanist, this design uses Abraham Maslow's theory of "Hierarchy of Humanism". With issues like this, the results obtained are planning and completion of the arrangement at the scale of the Putri Cempo TPA Area and Settlements and the design of the Workshop with the Humanism hierarchy, which is to restore the essence of humans and as humans through space even though their livelihoods are scavengers but they deserve a place. stay with his human side.
