Abstract
Depok Sub-district is one of the Sub-districts that is in Sleman Region with quite high number of Dengue Patients. Dengue disease patients in this Sub-district tend to increase every year. There are 88 cases of Dengue disease on 2015, 131 cases on 2016, 80 cases on 2017, 81 cases on 2018 and 120 cases on 2019. The purpose of this researche is to analize the spread of incident class of Dengue in the Depok Sub-district and to find out the correlation between population density and the number of incident of Dengue disease, in order to be used to make policy for the health departement to bring about the countermeasures, prevention, in the area that is included in the disease-prone teritory because of the high transmission rate to be exposed to the Dengue disease. The method that is used in this researche is qualitative descriptive that is to present the appearance of the map of the level of spatial distribution of incident of Dengue in Depok Sub-district, the population density map that has been made, and the result of correlation test to find out the impact of population density factor with that of the spread of incident class of Dengue disease. Geography analysis method that is used in the researche is spatial analysis method that is spatial pettern analysis. The analysis method that is used in the spatial pettern analysis is kernel density analysis. Spatial distribution analysis results of incident class of Dengue disease concentrated on certain teritories following the total number of population and other environment in Depok Sub-district .Spatial distribution of the incidence of DHF in Depok sub-district showed that high classes were around 9 hamlets with an area of 524 hectares or 16%, medium classes were found in 25 hamlets with an area of 1084 or 30%, and low classes found in 24 hamlets with an area of 1948 or 54%. The correlation between population density and the number of incident of Dengue disease in Depok Sub-district has a very strong value (r) 0,738 and has a positive coherency.
