Abstract

In the last ten years, Boyolali has shown great growth in infrastructure development, especially the development of public and community spaces. Many developments have been carried out by the Boyolali Regional Government, one of which is the Botanical Garden in collaboration with LIPI to create eco-region-based Botanical Gardens in each region. The Botanical Garden design focuses on conservation and educational tourism by applying an attractive learning experience as an attraction. The Botanical Garden design tries to direct architectural elements towards a design that gives a natural impression and blends into the natural environment. Architectural elements that can help form an attractive environment in this conservation and educational tourism area are: Shape, Landscape Arrangement, Color Selection, Materials, Openings and Lighting. These elements can help create an attractive impression to the environment. The impression that the design needs to convey is to create a natural conservation environment for plants, educative for visitors and an impression that can enhance the relationship between the man-made environment and nature.
