Abstract
The culinary center at Widuri Pemalang Beach is the most popular spot for visitors. However, the construction of Widuri Beach culinary center is considered not in accordance with the rules and standards of beach tourism. During its development, non-formal culinary areas were formed on the beach. Non-formal culinary areas were formed due to the some conditions of Widuri Beach and visitor preferences, which are highly accessible, affordable parking and food cost, and attractive views. The formal culinary area established by the government is less visited with buyers because they prefer non-formal culinary areas. The results of this evaluation are taken into consideration by the author in developing the culinary area of the Widuri Beach area into a culinary and family entertainment center that is in accordance with the standards, rules and interests of visitors. The concept of landscape architecture is applied in the development of the culinary and entertainment center of Widuri Beach with the aim of maintaining environmental sustainability.
