Abstract

School is a facilities used to learning process. In Indonesia, application full day school programs has begun to be implement in elementary school. Lack of facilities and infrastructure in elementary schools can cause discomfort. Architectural aspects are vey necessary in designing elementary schools so the atmosphere inside is comfortable and enjoyable for children. School buildings should be user friendly of all ranges, gender, and most importantly schools must be able to fulfill the right of children in every aspect of life and be responsible or also called the Child Friendly School (CFS). This research design objects is CFS Indonesia or Surakarta regulation. The limitations of this study was adjusted to elementary school users who are elementary school children, the criteria of selection area is in accordance with the aspects of CFS and government regulations. And considering the child’s psychological relationships and child’s behavior.
