Abstract

IMAM FADLI MUHAMMAD/J120160062 “CORRELATION BETWEEN MUSCULOSKELETAL PAIN COMPLAINTS DUE TO WORK WITH MUSCLE BALANCE IN THE WORKERS” (Counseled by: Totok Budi Santosa, S.Fis., Ftr., M.PH Background : One of the symptoms of health problems in the workforce that arise due to work is muscle pain. Muscle pain is caused by joint dysfunction and changes in the normal movement patterns of muscles, so that muscle imbalance can cause tissue damage and pain in this case pain. Objective : To find out the relationship between complaints of muscle pain due to work with muscle imbalance in the workers Research Methods : This research is a literacy study with a critical review approach. The study examined several studies of low back pain, and was reviewed using the PEDro scale. There are eleven items that are used to evaluate journals that are used for the discussion of research on health problems in he workers. Research Results : The results of the critical review test, used journals are included in sufficient criteria with an assessment on the PEDro scale. There are 7 journals tested which say that the prevalence of muscle pain complaints in workers is very high due to various factors, one of which is due to improper work posture which causes muscle imbalance due to spinal muscle activation in prolonged work posture causing spinal kinematics maladaptiv and pressure on the spine intensively.. Conclusion : The conclusion in this study is there is a relationship between musculoskeletal pain due to work with muscle imbalance in the workers.
