Abstract

CV. Jaya Abadi is a manufacturing company that manufactures semi-finished materials in the form of a blockboard. This company has 8 supplier, where the management of the buying cycle from the supplier is only done by 1 person with a manual process using Microsoft Excel and the whole process has not been integrated. Therefore, companies need information systems that match the needs to manage and integrate the buying cycle in order to produce accurate information for the company. The purpose of this study is to produce an Accounting Information System (AIS), identify system requirements using Context Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, and Entity Relationship Diagrams, design and implement a Windows desktop application-based purchasing cycle system that can be accessed by an internal company. This system was developed using VB. NET on Microsoft Visual Studio. The resulting information system can support accounting records in the purchase cycle that was previously manual using Microsoft Excel to be semi-automatic and has a Microsoft Excel database so that it reduces the risk of data loss that was quite common before.
