Abstract

The busy community will work, and the absence of free time goes to the market to buy vegetables, making the vegetable traders offer a trading come to the home of the consumer by trading the vegetable around. The presence of vegetable dealers makes it easy for consumers to get groceries. The reach of the surrounding vegetable merchant Service forms a trading network of the Gagan market leading to the consumer shelter. This research aims to determine the characteristics of vegetable traders around the market Gagan and the range of service of vegetable traders around the market Gagan. The research method of using the survey method, the population of this study is all around vegetable traders from the market Gagan. Primary Data is obtained from respondents with surveys and observations or observations. The results showed that, (1) The average vegetable trader around 50 years old, all vegetable vendors around female gender with a total of 15 merchants. Vegetable traders around the market Gagan the majority is an elementary school with a percentage of 40%. The majority of vegetable traders come from the village of Manggung, with a percentage of 26.6%. Average traders ' capital issued Rp 890.000,-/month entirely selling with their own capital. The average net income of the daily vegetable trader around Pasar Gagan amounted to Rp 76,266,-/day. Types of trades sold in the form of vegetables, chickens, fish, fruit. Seasoning Kitchen and Hawker. The business hours of vegetable traders around the oldest Gagan market is > 6 hours. (2) Roving vegetable dealers in Gagan market reach up to 7, 7Km.
