Abstract
Klaras is a waste that is rarely used and contains protein, hemicellulose and lignin, whereas straw contains cellulose, hemicellulose and high lignin. This study aims to determine the productivity of white oyster mushrooms on both the media of claras and straw used by the addition of molasses at different concentrations. This study used an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 2 factors and 2 replications. Factor 1: the composition of the mixture of claras and straw growing media: 1000 g: 0 g (K1), 750 g: 250 g (K2), 500 g: 500 g (K3), 250 g: 750 g (K4), 0 g: 1000 g (M5). Factor 2 molasses concentration: molasses concentration 10% (M1), molasses concentration 15% (M2), molasses concentration 20% (M3). The parameters measured were mushroom fresh weight, number of mushroom fruit body, and mushroom hood diameter. The results showed that the planting media of klaras and straw with the addition of molasses at different concentrations affected the productivity of white oyster mushrooms. The highest yield of fresh white oyster mushroom is in the K3M3 treatment (500 g claras + 500g straw + 20% molasses concentration) which is 460 g and the highest number of white oyster mushroom is in K4M2 treatment (250 g claras + 750 g straw + 15 g molasses concentration) %), that is 22.5 fruits, and the highest diameter of white oyster mushroom cap in the K2M1 treatment (750g claras + 250 g straw + 10% molasses concentration) is 8.67 cm.
