Abstract
Nowadays business competition in the context of increasingly competitive product design, the phenomenon of the creative industry and technological advances are currently able to encourage the flourishing of the product design industry by collaborating the skills of product designers and craftsmen for the development of creative and innovative products. One method that can be applied is design thinking. This process is a human-centered problem-solving tool, emphasizing collaboration and spontaneity. This process is considered in accordance with the work patterns of craftsmen who are generally "Learning By Doing", practical and not merely theoretical. With advances in increasingly sophisticated technology, the use of laser engrave cutting machines is expected to be able to support the production process in terms of time, cost and the best quality at SMEs so that SMEs can survive as a prosperous small and medium industry. The results of this study are the design of decorative wall lamps made of triplex, acrilyc and bamboo with the process of making part of the lamp using cutting and engrave laser, so that the resulting benefits of this wall lamp is Rp.233,000, - where the advantage of the initial wall lamp is only Rp. 60,000.
