Abstract

Economic growth is one of the important indicators to measure the success of economic development in a country. This study aims to analyze the effects of labor and exports on The Gross Domestic Product in Indonesia. Indicators that are used including external loan based on the position of the external loan in Indonesia according to a group of the borrower, labor based on population aged 15 years old or more, according to age group and type of activities a week ago and based on the value of oil gas and non-oil and gas. This study uses OLS (Ordinary Least Square) as an analysis tool in Indonesia since the 1998-2018 periods. The data of this research is secondary data obtained by World Bank and Central Agency on Statistics. The result of the analysis shows external loan has a positive and significant effect and for exports has a negative and significant effect on Gross Domestic Product in Indonesia. The result of R-Square analysis is 99% which means the external loan variable, labor, exports and affected the Gross Domestic Product and 1% remaining is influenced by other variables.
