Abstract
An internal combustion engine is an engine whose source of energy comes from the development of high pressure hot gases resulting from the combustion of a mixture of fuel and air, which takes place in an enclosed space in an engine called the combustion chamber. Performance or performance of a combustion motor can be seen with three indicators, there are power, torque, and specific fuel consumption. This research was conducted to determine the effect of the modification of the Magic Ring into an Exhaust Manifold with variations of Diffuser angles 40 °, 50 ° and 60 ° on motorcycle performance, there are Torque, Power, and SFC. Tests carried out using Dynotest and Suzuki Satria F 150 motorcycles. The test results using the Exhaust Manifold modification shows the highest performance increase obtained when the motorcycle uses an Exhaust Manifold with variations of Diffuser angles of 40 °. Torque is 10.61 Nm at 7316 RPM engine speed, the power generated is 11.6 HP, and SFC produced at 0.245 kg / hour. HP at 7901 RPM engine speed.
