Abstract

Electric motor is an energy conversion machine which converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In its development, there have been many types of motorcycles which have emerged which are the emergence of ideas in order to reach the demands of the future against the energy crisis. Electric motor is a machine that is widely applied in terms of drive systems, one of which is used in supporting equipment in a power generation system in gas and steam power plants (PLTGU). Some parameters used to find out which prime motor movers are better are torque, power, room temperature of the FGC propeller motor, temperature of the FGC propeller motor winding, and protective equipment if there are problems or disturbances in the electric motor when operating. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the room temperature of the Fuel Gas Compressor (FGC) motor and the operation of the Fuel gas Compressor (FGC) at the Priok POMU Block 3 plant, with several parameters used. The parameters used are increasing the temperature in the FGC motor chamber to the coolant oil temperature and the FGC motor winding when the Fuel Gas Compressor (FGC) operates to increase the pressure and temperature of the fuel gas / fuel gas to be channeled to the combustion process in the combustion chamber (combuster) at PLTGU PRO POMU Priok Block 3. The purpose of the relationship performance is to recommend improvements to the design and reliability of the Fuel Gas Compressor system. The results of the analysis carried out the value of room temperature changes on the resistance of windings and motor currents (FGC) vary greatly, at room temperature 32.4 ℃ has a low wound resistance value of 36.3 ℃ and the highest current of 307.7A, then at room temperature 61 .03 ℃ the highest winding temperature value is 145.0 ℃ and the lowest current is 258.3A.
