Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility to the value of the company with profitability as a mediating variable (intervention) study in manufacturing companies in the industrial sector using the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2016-2018. The data used in this study are secondary data and sample selection using purposive sampling method. The research method used is quantitative research. For data analysis methods using path analysis and multiple linear regression. Meanwhile, to process data using the Product Solution and Statistics Service (SPSS) version 20.0. The results of this study indicate that (1) CSR has a positive effect on firm value (PBV), (2) profitability (ROA) has a positive effect on firm value (PBV), (3) CSR has a positive effect on profitability (ROA), and (4) profitability can mediate the effect of the relationship between CSR on firm value (PBV).
