Abstract

Means of transportation is a public need that has become a part of human life that is needed by humans and will continue to develop along with the increasing economic level. The most popular and preferred transportation is private vehicles such as cars and motorcycles, in addition to the relatively cheap price, because it can be used according to the needs and desires of the vehicle owner. This study aims to determine the grouping of spare parts inventory by ABC classification analysis to further propose the procurement of goods at PT Meka Adipratama. The fact is that there are some items that cannot be provided by the vendor because the types of goods needed each month are different and the amount is uncertain. The method used is the ABC classification which can produce categories of goods in 3 classes. The items analyzed are spare parts of all types of cars purchased by OTP (partshop) in the period of 2019 from January-December 2019. The calculation uses inventory values of 1070 items. Obtained that there are a number of OTP spareparts that can be proposed, among others, 12V 21/5 Bulb with code OP-05-BL-KTO-001 having a fund absorption of Rp 1,536,836.00 with a total usage of 98 times, Small Tancep Bulb 12V 5W code OP-05-BLB-STS-003 has a fund absorption of 1,702,080.00 with a total usage of 96 times, Bulb Stop LMP 12V Engke / Double with code OP-05-BSL-OTH-001 has a fund absorption of Rp. 781,826.00 with a total usage of 86 times, Carbon Cleaner with the code OP-18-CCL-OTH-001 has a fund absorption of Rp 9,672,000.00 with a total usage of 78 times, Cup Brake 13/16 with the OP-03 code -CPR-SKC-005 has an absorption of funds of Rp 872,768.00 with a total usage of 64 times, Pentil Karet with code OP-14-PK-OTH-001 has an absorption of funds amounting to 448,000.00 with a total usage of 56 times.
