Abstract

Colomadu sub-district experiences changes in land use every year which is caused by increasing population growth every year. The purpose of this study is to determine the distribution of land use changes that occurred in the study area in 2009 and 2019 and analyze the patterns of distribution of land use changes between 2009 and 2019. The method used in this research is the method of visual interpretation of remote sensing images supplemented by surveys. The survey is carried out on the object of interpretation which is considered to have doubts at the time of visual interpretation. The sample contained in this study is based on objects that are dubious in visual interpretation, so the data produced will be tested for truth. The method of analyzing land use change in Colomadu District in 2009 and 2019 uses an overlay between the two land use data using Geographic Information System technology. Analysis of the distribution patterns of land use change in Colomadu District was carried out using the Nearest Neighborhood Analyst method. The results of land use research in Colomadu Subdistrict showed that land use found in Colomadu Subdistrict in 2009 and 2019 were settlements, shrubs, fields / gardens, rice fields, ponds, vacant land and toll roads. Changes in land use in Colomadu sub-district are dominated by changes in the conversion of paddy fields to settlements spread throughout Colomadu sub-district with the biggest changes occurring in several villages such as Bolon, Paulan, Gawan, Blulukan and Tohudan. Changes in the use of rice fields into settlements, have a percentage of 47.87% and an area of 182.58 ha. The high change in paddy land use is influenced by the location of paddy fields that have easy accessibility such as being close to the highway and in urban areas that have high population density. The second result of this study shows the pattern of distribution of changes in land use in the District of Colomadu which is known from the value of the Nearest Neighborhood Analysty value with a value of 0.672559 (cluster). The pattern of distribution of groups is very visible in several villages such as the villages of Gawan, Bolon and Paulan. The pattern of distribution of changes in land use in the Colomadu sub-district tends to occur along the road, this is because the land in the Colomadu sub-district has easy access especially in the use of paddy fields.
