Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the use of substitution in Kompas daily newspaper opinion rubric, describe the form of substitution in Kompas daily newspaper opinion rubric, and the relevance of opinion rubric as teaching material for Indonesian language learning in high school. Data collection techniques in this study using the technique of note taking notes. Data analysis techniques in this study using the method of distribution. The agitated methods used are basic and advanced techniques. The object of this research is the Kompas daily opinion rubric. In addition, this research can be implemented in Indonesian language learning KD 3.6 analyzing the structure and language of eeditorial texts. Based on this study entitled Substitution in the Kompas Daily Opinion Rubric. The results of the analysis of discernment show that the rubric of opinion has a marker of grammatical relations substitution recovery. Substitutions contained in the rubric of the Kompas daily newspaper opinion include; Nominal substitution, verbal substitution, phrases and clauses Substitution of both nominal substitution, verbal substitution, phrases and clauses there are 32 data with details of 9 nominal substitution, 4 verbal substitution, 7 phrases and 8 clauses.
