Abstract

Shopee is one of the popular e-commerce today, the popularity of e-commerce is caused by several factors including the quality of the website, the positive word of mouth among consumers, the speed of delivery of goods and the well-known celebrity that is used as an endorser. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of word of mouth, celebrity endorsers and website quality on consumer buying interest. The independent variables in this study are word of mouth, celebrity endorser and website quality and the dependent variable used is buying interest. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with a sample of 150 respondents. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression using the SPSS application. The results of this study indicate that word of mouth has a positive and significant effect on consumers 'buying interest, celebrity endorsers have a positive and significant effect on consumers' buying interest and website quality has a positive and significant effect on consumer buying interest.
