Abstract
Media have their own ideology to understand particular phenomenons or issues. With that different ideology, the same fact could be driven to different news report.. This research was focused on reporting about burning church which happened on October 13rd, 2015 in Aceh Singkil in Republika daily newspaper. The objective of this research was to understand how the framing on reporting of Republika during October until November 2015. This research used qualitave approach with framing analysis method. The data collection technique was got from documentation study by combining the data technique analysis using Entman’s 4 framing analysis devices, that are define problem, diagnose causes, make moral judgement, and treatment recommendation. The result showed that Republika daily newspaper was framing Aceh Singkil’s conflict by there was regulation violation of worship places that caused the church burning and less response from government to prevent the conflict until it caused one man dead.
