Abstract
ABSTRACT Name : Widya Aurina Pradwirahma Study Program : Nursing Education Title : The correlation between level of excercise management with blood pressure value and pulse rate of hypertention patient in Puskesmas Purwosari Surakarta Introduction: In patients with hypertension, one of the risk factors that can be changed is exercise habits. Lack of physical activity can increase the risk of people with hypertension because it increases the risk of obesity. People who are not active tend to have a higher heart rate so that when contracting the heart will work harder. Likewise, a person's pulse will continue to increase if the body temperature rises. When you exercise automatically your body temperature will increase. The purpose: of this study was to study the relationship between the level of regularity related to blood pressure and pulse values in hypertensive patients at Purwosari Public Health Center, Surakarta. This type of research is quantitative research using analytic survey methods. Research Method: The technique of taking subjects using saturated samples with a total of 63 people. The level of regularity obtained from the questionnaire was asked directly on the subject. Blood pressure and pulse are obtained from direct measurements with a sphygmomanometer. The relationship test used in this study is the Spearman Rank Test. The results: showed that 36 respondents (57.1%) did not exercise regularly. Respondents with first degree hypertension were 26 people (41.3%). Respondents with a normal pulse rate were 56 people (88.8%). There is no relationship between the level of regularity of exercise with blood pressure (p value = 0.161) and pulse rate (p value = 0.563) in hypertensive patients at Puskesmas Purwosari Surakarta. Conclucion: It can be concluded that there is no relationship between the level of regular exercise with blood pressure and pulse in hypertensive patients at Purwosari Public Health Center, Surakarta. Keywords: Exercise, blood pressure, pulse, hypertension
