Abstract

Abstract Torqflow transmission is a power transfer device that uses fluid in this case oil as a controller. Torqflow transmission functions to regulate the speed of movement forward, backward, and on large tools that are no less important is to increase torque by reducing the rotation through the ratio of the number of teeth on the transmission. The purpose of the calculation analysis is to find out the mechanism of action and the relationship between gear ratio and torque and speed ratio on the Shantui bulldozer up to 16 f. calculation step that was carried out was by collecting the required data then the data obtained was entered into the formulas that were available. The results of the analysis show that the mechanism of action on the torqflow transmission uses engage and control on the clutch.
