Abstract

Boyolali or often also called the city of milk. because it is a milk producing center in Central Java, Boyolali itself has many MSMEs that encourage economic growth in Boyolali, but many MSMEs have experienced a downturn or closed down in their businesses because of the inability to compete in the trade market, for those who have developed minds and most creatives will survive. Boyolali is now growing in the procurement of events but event events in Boyolali have not been of much interest to the public, still inferior to the city of Surakarta, with the development of MSMEs and there are many exhibition activities in Boyolali Regency, it takes a place for promotional activities and exhibitions with adequate facilities. This can be addressed with the construction of a large and comprehensive Expo and Convention Center, like the Jakarta Convention center which in 2007 was able to facilitate 441 events in one year, it can be imagined how much we get as business people if there are an equal number of events. The Hight-Tech architecture was chosen as the planning and design approach for the exhibition and convention center in Boyolali Regency as a symbol of Boyolali Regency as a developing city. In addition, the High-Tech Architecture is able to give an attractive appearance to the building so as to attract the attention of visitors.
