Abstract

Abstract Multifunctional buildings where in an area or site there are buildings that have more than one function. Commercial buildings, which can accommodate several different activities, such as shopping, recreation, resting and with modern concepts following the times. Applying the concept of Contemporary Architecture design to the design of the Mall building. Wonogiri is one of the districts that has several shopping centers scattered in various regions. But the shopping center is still quite small. The use of mixed-use buildings can aim to improve the quality and conditions in the surrounding environment and provide ease of use in time efficiency and accelerate accessibility. The design of this Mall will improve the quality of the economy, the quality of urban space and revive the area that was now abandoned. Infrastructure for road transport in order to regulate the arrival of the departure base public transportation and load or unload passengers or goods. Streamlining and facilitating buying and selling activities in the Shopping mall area and increasing the efficiency of agribusiness commodity marketing. The design process starts from site analysis and concept, spatial analysis and concept, building mass analysis and concept, building exterior and interior concept and analysis, building structure and utility, and contemporary architectural concepts. Producing a Modern Shopping Center (Mall) design that can support the smooth running of the tourism world in Wonogiri.
