Abstract

Zakat is taken from some of the assets that have reached Nisab, and is given to those who are entitled to receive it on specified conditions. At the Surakarta Solopeduli Foundation, the collection of zakat is still awaiting muzaki to come directly to the Surakarta Solopeduli Foundation. Meanwhile, in terms of its management, the collected zakat is managed and integrated with other zakat. While the distribution, distributed to eight groups of Asnaf which have been determined in the Qur'an. In this discussion, the authors use field research or field research, where the object of research is focused at the Surakarta Solopeduli Foundation. The nature of this research is descriptive-analytic using a normative approach with reference to the verses of the Koran, Al-Hadith, and the opinions of the scholars. In analyzing the data, the arrangement uses a qualitative analysis. which consists of three series, namely: data reduction, data collection related to zakat, the presentation of data compilers trying to analyze with predetermined theories. In the process of collecting and managing zakat funds, officials take zakat depending on the agreement of the muzaki, by 2.5% because it is analogous to zakat of gold and silver. In addition, the distribution of zakat funds is not yet optimal due to the large number of mustaqik lists that are not matched by the muzaki.
