Abstract

The objectives of this study are to describe: 1) the integrity of the Principal's transformational leadership, 2) the Principal's transformational leadership in motivating educators, 3) the Principal's transformational leadership in providing stimulation to the teaching staff, and 4) the Principal's transformational leadership in valuing differences of opinion among educators at SMP Muhammdiyah 1 Kartasura. This study uses qualitative methods with a phenomenological design approach. The results showed that: 1) the integrity of the principal's transformational leadership was consistent with the vision, mission, new directions, strategies, ideas promoted, and programs developed so that the teachers and staff underneath also had a consistent attitude and the results achieved more maximally, 2) the principal is able to provide motivation, enthusiasm, encouragement, appreciation, optimism about the performance of his subordinates, 3) the principal stimulates the teaching staff by prioritizing the convenience of the work of his subordinates and becomes a sharing friend to find solutions to problems encountered in the implementation of the program activities , and 4) the principal respects the differences in both the character and ability of each of his subordinates and gives the opportunity for his subordinates to continue to develop themselves.
