Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of land area, type of vehicle and motivation on the learning activities of class XI State High School 1 Jumapolo students. This research is quantitative descriptive research type with drawing conclusions through statistical analysis. The population in this study were students of class XI IPS of SMA Negeri 1Jumapolo. Samples were 119 students. The required data is obtained through a questionnaire and documentation. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, F test, t test, R2 test, and relative and effective contributions. The regression line equation shows that student learning activeness is influenced by arable land area, type of vehicle and learning motivation. The conclusions drawn are: 1) Based on the F test it is known that the value obtained by Fcount> Ftable is 5.721> 2,68 and the significance value <0.05 is 0.001 <0.05. This means that the area of arable land, the type of vehicle and learning motivation together contribute positively and significantly to student learning activities. While the coefficient of determination obtained by 0.395 which means that the contribution made by a combination of arable land area variables, the type of vehicle and learning motivation is 39.5% while 60.5% is influenced by other variables. 2) Variable area of arable land does not contribute and is significant to students' learning activeness. T test results obtained because tcount <ttable is 0.918> 1,98081 and a significance value> 0.05 is 0.361> 0.05. Variable area of arable land provides a relative contribution of 10% and an effective contribution of 4%. 3) Variable types of vehicles do not contribute and are significant to the activeness of student learning. T test results were obtained because tcount <ttable is 0.710 <1,98081 and a significance value> 0.05 is 0.479> 0.05. Variable types of vehicles make a relative contribution of 3% and an effective contribution of 1.2%. 4) Learning motivation variables contribute positively and significantly to students' learning activeness. T test results are 3.691> 1,98081 and the significance value <0.05 is 0.000 <0.05. Learning motivation variable gave a relative contribution of 87% and an effective contribution of 34.3%.
