Abstract

Hemodialysis is a therapy that is often used in patients with chronic kidney disiase.. The success of Hemodialysis is supported by contributions to fluid intake and low potassium nutritional (diet) intake. Without the presence of fluids, will release the accumulating fluid and will cause edema throughout the body, this condition will make blood pressure increase and aggravate the work of the heart and in patients with chronic renal failure, hyperkalemia can cause dystrimia (cardiac arrest. To find out the need for low potassium nutritional intake in the diet hemodialysis patients at PKU Aisiyiyah Boyolali Hospital. This study is a quantitative descriptive study.The sampling method uses a total sampling technique with a total of 38 respondents.This study uses weight scales in the Hemodialysis unit of Aisyiyah Boyolali Hospital and the researchers used a recording sheet used to record post-hemodialysis patients' previous and pre-hemodialysis body weight, ie 92% less adherent to fluid intake and 89% non-adherent to nutrient intake, in conclusion GGK patients who monitor hemodilisia therapy in PKU Aisiyah Boyolali Hospital are less Obedient to fluid intake and Low potassium nurition.
