Abstract
The purpose of this study is (1) To correct the differences in learning with cooperative learning strategies snowball driling and talking stick. (2) To correct differences in student activeness towards learning outcomes and (3) To test the interaction between cooperative learning strategies of snowball drilling and talking stick types in terms of student learning activeness towards economic learning. This research is a quantitative research. The population in this study were all XI grade students of SMA Batik 2 Surakarta, while the sample in this study were 62 students who were obtained from two classes, namely the XI IPS experimental class 3 and control class XI IPS 5. The result of this study indicate that (1) Based on the test results it is known that the significance value of the learning strategy is 0.004. (2) Based on the test results it is known that the significance value of student activeness is 0,000. there are differences in the level of student activity on learning outcomes. (3) Based on the test results it is known that the significance value between the type of cooperative learning strategy snowball drilling and talking stick in terms of student learning activeness is 0.334. That there is no interaction between cooperative learning strategies of snowball drilling and talking.
