Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Current Ratio (CR), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Earning per Share (EPS) on firm value in the automotive and component sectors in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study were all automotive and component companies in the Indonesia Stock Exchange as many as 13 companies in the 2015-2018 period. The sampling technique used is saturated sample. Data collection method used in this study is the documentation method. Sources of data in this study are secondary data obtained from ICMD and www.idx.co.id. The analytical methods used for this research are: classic assumption test, multiple regression test, and hypothesis testing with the help of SPSS 25 for windows application. The results showed that the Current Ratio (CR) had a significant positive effect on firm value, Net Profit Margin (NPM) had a positive effect on firm value, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) had no significant effect on firm value, and Earning per Share (EPS) had an effect significant positive effect on firm value.
