Abstract
This research was conducted in Karangduren Village, Sawit District, Boyolali Regency. Karangduren Village is the most developed village in Sawit District in terms of its economy to the industrial sector, but there are still many residents in this village who carry out circular mobility to other regions. This study aims to 1) 2 Assess the demographic, social, and economic characteristics of the perpetrators of circular mobility in Karangduren Village 2) Assess the factors of population mobility 3) Assess the population's circular mobility patterns in Karangduren Village 4) Assess the remittances given by mobility actors circular to families left behind in the area of origin. The research method used for data collection is a survey with a sample collection technique using the Purposive Sampling method with the object of population in Karangduren Village that carry out circular mobility. The results of this study are the characteristics of circular circular mobility actors are having productive age (83%), predominantly single marital status (54%), high school graduation education (43%) and graduating PT / Academy (36%). After conducting circular mobility the majority work in the industrial sector (31%) and private employees (21%). The driving factor is the increasingly limited jobs available in the area of origin and a small wage, while the pull factor is a wide and varied employment opportunities and high wages. The distribution pattern of circular mobility in Karangduren Village is mostly spread in big cities in Java (87%). The most dominant is in the area of DKI Jakarta (27%), and the return of the perpetrators of circular mobility to the area of origin is during the Eid holiday. The transportation used by respondents to their destination and when returning to their area of origin the most is using land transportation mode. The average remittance given to families left behind in the most dominant area of origin (74%) is Rp.1,000,000 - Rp.2,000,000 and the most dominant delivery frequency (77%) is 12 times a year or every month by sending the most dominant money through ATMs (79%).
