Abstract

The substation is part of an electrical system that functions to transform electrical power from 150 kV to 20 kV to be distributed to consumers. One of them is separator. The main function of the separator is as a switch separating the electrical circuit in a voltage or no voltage without load current. To continue to complete financial repairs need to be done regularly. Separator maintenance is carried out by carrying out tests such as checking physical conditions, measurement of contact resistance, measurement of insulation resistance, measurement of earth resistance and measurement of the temperature of equipment components. This research was conducted to learn how to solve the problem and test the 150 kV Gondangrejo substation after testing and testing. At the Palur 1 dividing bay the Gondangrejo substation has different insulation resistance values. The value of Palur 1 bay insulation resistance in the Gondangejo substation won was 5,200 MΩ / kV, the value still met the standard of ≥ 1 MΩ / kV.
