Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of regional original income, balance funds and capital expenditure on the financial performance of the regency and city government in Central Java Province. The population in this study were all regency and city governments in Central Java Province. The sample of this study is a portion of the population that will be taken by several district and city governments to be sampled according to criteria from 2015-2017. The sample method applied in this study is purposive sampling method. The analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis, which was processed using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 21.00 software program. Based on the results of research conducted, it can be seen that local revenue has a positive effect on the financial performance of local governments, balancing funds negatively affect the financial performance of local governments, while capital expenditure has a positive effect on the financial performance of local governments.
