Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Operational Costs to Operating Income (BOPO), Non Performing Financing (NPF), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Third Party Funds (TPF), Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and inflation on the profitability of Islamic banks in Indonesia. The population that is the object of this research is Islamic banks in Indonesia in 2014-2018. This study uses a purposive sampling method in research sampling. The number of samples used were 12 Islamic banks registered at Bank Indonesia. The method used in this research is to use multiple linear regression analysis. The analysis shows that during the observation period the research data were normally distributed. Based on the normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and autocorrelation test found no variables that deviate from classical assumptions. This shows the available data has fulfilled the requirements using multiple linear regression equation models, CAR and TPF have a significant positive effect partially on Profitability, BOPO, NPF, FDR have a significant negative effect partially on Profitability, GDP and Inflation have no partial effect on Profitability. The predictive ability of the seven variables on profitability is 84.6% as indicated by the magnitude of Adjusted R2.
