Abstract

Alhid Febri Winarko. NIM A 210 150 020. Accounting Education Study Program. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. 2020. The purpose of this study is to find out: the existence of traditional market revitalization in the Ngawen sub-district in increasing the income of traders. This research is a descriptive analysis of the process of searching and systematically compiling data obtained from interviews with market traders and market employees. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, documentation. The data analysis technique used is using Bogdan and Biklen models. The results showed that: (1) What factors supported and prevented revitalization. The supporting factors consist of market revitalization planning and changing market facilities and infrastructure to be cleaner, more comfortable and orderly. (2) What are the effects of revitalizing traditional markets in increasing trader income. The effect of revitalization also has an impact on the level of income earned by traders, both up and down and some rising.
