Abstract

Interpersonal conflict is a common thing in relations of two individuals, in student organizations Interpersonal conflict or conflict between two individuals is a common thing that we often encounter, In this study the researcher will explain what causes interpersonal conflict in student organizations and how strategies for conflict resolution Interpersonal in student organizations, this study uses a qualitative approach by taking data through an interview process with research informants totaling eight people selected using the snowball sampling method that has the criteria of students of the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta who participate in and are active in student organizations both at the university and faculty level. From this research, it is known that the most dominant cause of interpersonal conflict in student organizations is communication problems and personality differences, then interpersonal conflict resolution strategies in student organizations are the most common problems that are done are compromise, accommodation, avoidance and assistance from third parties.
