Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the self-acceptance of the female adolescents, the research used was qualitative data from which interviews were obtained. Data obtained from four informants with established criteria, namely women who are still commercial sex workers, results of this study show that three out of four subjects have low self-acceptance characteristics, in which the subject feels uncomfortable and happy despite getting a lot of material, they must hate themselves for living by cheating on their families by being violators of social and religious norms, but there is also one subject who feels happy about the situation of being a sex worker because the subject feels he is getting abundant material from working as comfort women.
