Abstract

The Kliwonan tourism village has become an alternative to local economic development that has been implemented in various regions. One of the villages that was developed as a tourist village which is one of the villages incorporated in the Sragen Batik Cluster. Kliwonan Village has the potential for development if viewed from the geographical and accessibility aspects. From the geographical aspect, Kliwonan Village is only ± 10 km away from the Sangiran Museum tourist attraction, where the Sangiran Museum has been designated a National Tourism Strategic Area (KSPN). In terms of accessibility, Kliwonan Village is easily accessible because it is only ± 8 km from the Solo-Kertosono toll exit. However, this is not supported by good facilities or infrastructure and is not packaged with a good concept, making it the largest tourist village in Sragen district with the main production being batik. The purpose of this paper is to make the Kliwonan Sragen batik area a tourist village that integrates with nature and ensures that the community can meet their needs without reducing opportunities for future generations.
