Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of agglomeration in large and medium industrial sectors on regional economic growth in provinces in Java, Bali and Nusa Tenggara in 2011 - 2018. Data collection techniques using secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of the Java Province East in the form of variables namely the dependent variable and independent variables. This study uses the GLS (General Least Square) method. Factors that influence economic growth include: agglomeration, economic openness, oil palm, gini ratio, and exports. While the factors that influence agglomeration include: economic growth, economic openness, labor force and exports. This study shows that the influence of all independent variables of economic growth, namely: agglomeration, economic openness, IPM, Gini ratio and exports, does not have an effect respectively on economic growth in the provinces of Java, Bali and Nusa Tenggara. While the independent variables on industrial agglomeration indicate that economic growth and economic openness significantly influence changes in the index of industrial agglomeration in the provinces of Java, Bali and Nusa Tenggara.
