Abstract
This study aims to determine how the influence of diamond fraud and dishonest behavior can influence the occurrence of academic fraud. Based on fraud diamond's theory, there are four factors that can influence the occurrence of academic fraud, namely pressure, opportunity, rationalization, and capability. In this study, researchers added one independent variable, the variable of dishonest behavior. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study is the Accounting Students of Muhammadiyah Surakarta and Sebelas Maret University Class of 2016. The method of collecting data in this study was to use a questionnaire. The sampling technique in this study used the incidental sampling method. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression. With SPSS version 2.1. this research shows that opportunity, rationalization, and ability have no effect on academic cheating. While pressure and dishonest behavior affect academic fraud.
