Abstract
This study aims to describe how to implement dance extracurricular activities in instilling kinesthetic intelligence in upper class students at MIM PK Kartasura. This type of research is a qualitative research. The subjects of this study were upper class students of MIM PK Kartasura who took part in the dance extracurricular. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of data by data reduction, presenting data, drawing conclusions and verification, namely by summarizing the data obtained in the field and then grouping the data and making conclusions based on the data obtained. Data validity is done by technique triangulation and source triangulation. From the results of research that has been done: 1) dance extracurricular activities to instill kinesthetic intelligence in MIM PK Kartasura has been going well, 2) many students are enthusiastic in participating in dance extracurricular activities and there are obstacles where students have difficulty concentrating with dance extracurricular activities but this can be overcome by turning on tape recorder to provoke what the teacher has taught. It can be concluded that the application of dance extarkuricular can be used to instill kinesthetic intelligence in MIM PK Kartasura.
