Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe the lexical categories of greetings in the Prayunan Village, Sragen Subdistrict, Sragen Regency, and explain the factors that affect the greeting words found in the Prayunan Village, Sragen Subdistrict, Sragen Regency. Data collection techniques with tapping techniques as a basic technique because listening is realized by tapping the use of the language of a person or several people who are informants or research objects. Data analysis techniques in this study were using the matching method and the agitated method. The object of this research is the people of Prayunan Village, Sragen District, Sragen Regency. The results of this research analysis are there are 3 types, namely physical context based on limbs, social context in the form of similarities with other creatures (animals or plants), and social context based on phenomena that have occurred. In the findings found in 50 data from the people of Prayunan Village, Sragen District, Sragen Regency, the findings are as follows. Banyu, Ontong, Bee / BD, Flat, Kecing, Mendem, Ngganden, Gembel, Maryono, Ngeng, Dudo, Kirah, Deplon, Acong, Barge, Jakio, Konda, Beautiful Mother, Gembrang, Pak Senen, Krusuk, Sinchan, Sate, Toklok, Fatty, Cempluk, Pedet, Pa'ang, Pesek, Buncit, Gosong, Ceking, Brindil, Gansir, Kenthus, Gudel, Cempe, Baim, Walik, Tembel, Kede, Cricket, Speckle, Snack, Stove, Lemu, Gembo, Kenthus, Gudel, Cempe, Baim, Walik, Tembel, Kede, Cricket, Speckle, Snack, Stove, Lemu, Gembo, Kenth Tengen, Tumo. Through these findings which included the function of the social context of 19 data, of which 7 data explained the physical context, and 24 data showed the social context that represented a phenomenon that had occurred. through these data it can be seen that the dominance in the findings contained in 50 data from the Prayunan Village community, Sragen District, Sragen Regency, is dominated by the social context function in their greetings.
