Abstract
As information technology advances in this digital age, activities in religion have undergone various transformations. Religious activities are now very flexible to be carried out anywhere and at any time and can also be adjusted to the needs. To get information related to religion, one only needs to use the media they have to access it. At this time social media is very appropriate for the means of delivering any content or messages to be conveyed through social media. This study wants to find out how the Instagram account @ shiftmedia.id mediates religion in the migration of young people ?. This study has the objective to find out the phenomenon of migrations with the theory of mediation. This research includes the type of qualitative research using a caulative content analysis. Data collection techniques using documentation studies with samples are posts from 2 January 2019 - 2 July 2019. This study found the results that by using language slang and using the method of preaching communication account @ shiftmedia.id wanted to persuade followers to change attitudes or behaviors from bad behavior into good behavior, this change in attitude can be called the hijrah. This behavior change is aimed at young people following @ shiftmedia.id's account. With these various findings the researchers found that the account @ shiftmedia.id used the media to invite young people to emigrate and get the blessing of Allah SWT.
