Abstract

This study aims to determine the performance appraisal of village officials, constraints and alternative solutions for resolution of the constraints of Pabelan Village appraisal performance. This type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subject of this research is the village apparatus in the Office of the Village Chief Pabelan, Kartasura District, Sukoharjo Regency. Data collection techniques using interviews and documentation. Data validity is done using triangulation of data sources. Data analysis was performed by applying an interactive model. Performance indicators used in this study according to Mangkunegara as quoted by Retnoningtyas (2019), 1) quantity, 2) quality, 3) execution of tasks, 4) responsibility. The results of this study indicate that the Pabelan Village appraisal performance appraisal uses a direct assessment which is then adjusted to the existing indicators. Constraints in the performance appraisal of village officials do not exist or there are no obstacles. There is no alternative solution to overcome the obstacles in the Pabelan Village appraisal performance evaluation, because there were no obstacles in assessing the performance of the village apparatus then there is no alternative solution.
