Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) markers og grammatical cohesion contained in the rubric og opinion, the online editional of Oktober 2018 Tribun News edition; (2)markers of lexical cohesion countained in the rubric of opinion, please report online edition of the October 2018 editionof the Tribun News. (3) the relevance of the opinion rubric as teaching materials for learning Indonesian in high school. Rhis study uses a type of qualitative descriptive research with a content review approach. The results of this study indicate the presence of discourse in the rubric of opinion, namely (1) the marker of grammatical cohesion found consisting of references, substitutions, conjunctions, and ellipses. (2) the use of lexical cohesion markers found, namely repetition, hyponym, and equivalent. The Tribun News online newspaper’s opinion rubric has the potential to be used and developed as teaching materials for learning Indonesia language, especially in class XII high school in terms of existing KI and KD 3.10 evaluate information, both facts and apinions, in an article that is read. And KD 4.10 Arrange opinions in the form of articles.
