Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of social support and family work balance with employee happiness. This research uses quantitative methods. The population in this study are employees in the Textile Industry and Textile Products (TPT). The subject of this study consisted of employees of the sewing division of the garment division of PT. Dan Liris as many as 100 employees. The sampling technique used is quota sampling. Data collection tools in this research are Happiness scale, Social Support scale and Work Family Balance scale. Data analysis techniques using multiple regression parametric correlation analysis. The results of the analysis obtained from this study are 1) F value of 25,243 with Sig. equal to 0,000 where (p <0.01) means that there is a relationship between social support and work family balance on employee happiness, 2) F value of 0.542 and Sig. 0,000 (p <0.01) means that there is a very significant positive relationship between social support and employee happiness, 3) an F value of 0.499 and Sig. of 0,000 (p <0.01) meaning that there is a very significant positive relationship between work family balance and employee happiness. The results of the categorization of happiness, social support and of the work family balance in the sewing division employees of PT. Dan Liris is classified as medium.
